OFFERING AFFORDABLE CITY LIFE

Lidl is tackling one of the most pressing problems – finding a flat with a reasonable rent. So from now on, Lidl does not just build stores in cities, but whole apartment buildings on top of them. Each offering a variety of apartment layouts to suit all lifestyles, from singles to multi-generational families.

HAPPY PLACES, HAPPY PEOPLE

Lidl equips the buildings with future-proof solutions, they are smart grid compatible and offer state-of-the-art connectivity (IoT). Solar panels are integral design elements, each building provides spaces for neighbours to gather spontaneously, and also sports facilities, a swimming pool (something few can afford these days), a kindergarten, event space for community projects like theater groups or music bands, and a communal garden on the roof. New jobs are also being created to take care of daily LIDL LIVING.

TOWER TO THE PEOPLE
